Chemical vs Physical

Fair test

Title - Gummy worms
Purpose: What do you want to learn/find out?
To find out what will happen if we put water and calcium chloride with sodium alginate?

Hypothesis: Try to predict the answer to the problem. Another term for hypothesis is ‘educated guess’. This is usually stated like ” If I…(do something) then…(this will occur)
The water and the calcium chloride produced the best because they both go together to make the mixture of water and calcium chloride.

Materials: List everything you will need to conduct your experiment.
Calcium chloride, Sodium alginate, polymer and pipettes.

Experiment procedure: The fun part! Design a test or procedure to confirm or disprove your hypothesis. Write down each step so that someone else could do the same experiment.
1. We mixed water with calcium chloride.
2. Then we got the pipettes and filled it with sodium alginate.
3. Fill the water and add the sodium alginate.
4. Then we watched the sodium alginate move around the cup of water.
5. When we finished watching it we took it out of the cup
6. Then we tipped out the water and all of us were holding the sodium alginate.

Analysis/Data: Record what happened during the experiment.
When we finished the little drops of sodium chloride were floating in the cup of water and calcium chloride.

The water didn’t go with sodium alginate.

When we took out the sodium alginate it was yuck, green and soggy.

When we added all the sodium alginate together the cup of water turned into to green.

Conclusion:Review the data and check to see if your hypothesis was correct.
The calcium chloride does go with water.

The seaside cottage

The seaside cottage
Long ago in the lands of Jacksonville, there lived a friendless family. This family lived here for nearly 20 years near the sea shore. The cottage was rusted, the windows were old, the walls were filthy and the kitchen disgusting. The cottage broke down in 1965 when this old family moved in.

This old family were talented. They can sing, dance and make cool catchy songs. One of their son’s name was Simeon. He was talented at singing. All day long he would walk around and sing his favorite song. “ I like to eat, apples and bananas, I like to eat, apples and bananas”. That was one of his favorite songs.

Until it came to his little brother Max. He really loves dancing. His favorite place to dance was outside in the backyard. He does flips and amazing moves. Danny was his older brother. He’s talented at making cool songs. When he sees his brother, he always dashes to him and play catchy songs.

But the new people who moved in wasn't as talented as the other family. They were just friendless and joyless. There plan was to make their cottage clean and spotless. So Miracle was Ford's big sister. She was the one who planned this.

Afterwards Miracle came with her team and started working on the cottage. “ Nice view over here ”, said one of the workers.
“ Yeah I know right ”, replied Miracle.
“ Let's start working on this cottage ”, said Miracle. So they started busting down the doors, walls and rooms.

They bought new apartment things and started placing them on the doors, wall and rooms. “ Oh my gosh, this looks much better ” said Miracle.
“ This is a miracle ”, said one of the workers.

So there family lived happily ever after.

The test

This week and last week. We had reading test, writing test and math test. Last week was reading test. It was a little bit hard for me, but I still handled it. I was quite nervous and scared at the same time, because you don't know you might fail it in any time. When we started the reading test I was aright until we started.

" Begin your test in 3, 2, 1 go!", said Mr Wisman. So the test began. Some of the questions were hard and easy, but some of them were way to hard. My favorite question out of all was the gun cannon. That was easy and hard.

My second favorite was called the yeast in bread. That was too easy for me. Then lastly my favorite was the dog chase. That was easy as well as the other one's. The strategies iv'e learned was reading it properly and answer the questions properly.

This test was important to us so we can learn next year and learn more about reading. Then it came to the writing test. That was hard because we had to write about a picture in 40 minutes it was fast. I was nervous when we started the test.

Once again " Begin your test in 3, 2, 1 go!", said Mr Wiseman. I started writing about this picture. The picture was a picture of the forest, but my story was called the gloomy forest. The writing test was hard.

When we finished I was happy for my self I completed the next test which was the writing test. The strategies I learned was past tense, personification, similes and don't USE PAST TENSE.

Then lastly it was the maths test. The maths test was alright. I was feeling nervous and happy because I like maths. And another one "Begin your test ", said Mr Wiseman. I started it and it was easy in the start until it go to the end it was hard.

I learned doubles, subtraction, addition, times and division. This maths was really important to me because maths was one of the best iv'e ever done. THE END

Partley cloudy

Once upon a time, joyful clouds in the sky made lot’s of nice lovely creatures. Creatures like cuddly puppies, sweet cats and happy babies. Storks would always come to collect the gift, then fly away and give them to parents or animals. One friendless dark grey cloud named griff, could make creatures, but they were more different than the others. Griff’s stork, Fred, wasn't as happy as the other storks, it had one black eye, it’s feathers were coming off and it was dirty. Fred had enough of the creatures that Griff made, so he flew off to the cloud that was on top of Griff. Griff’s feelings wasn't as happy like it shouldn't be. His cloud was filled with anger, so he rumbled and tumbled like an old man. Once he saw Fred getting a gift, Griff started to cry like a waterfall was falling. Griff’s feelings was sad and angry, so Fred came back to Griff with a gift in his hands. Fred opened his gift and it was extra gear for him, so if he gets hit, he won’t get hurt. Griff was cheerful and happy, when Fred came back. Afterwards they lived happy ever after.Image result for partly cloudy

Magnus the Magnificent

Magnus the Magnificent

Orientation:
Long, long time ago in the lands of Theodore, there was a man named Magnus. Magnus was an old grotesque filthy man who lived in the streets near Hyper park. Hyper park was a quiet park where plenty of people would go. The weather was dripping like a waterfall was getting ready to splash. Magnus would always walk around the park looking for food, looking for clothes and looking for money. The only ability Magnus had was to hear, smell, feel and see. One day, he wished that he could become rich and famous.

Problem:
Sadley Magnus was very lonely and very poor. He had no money on him, no food and no spare clothes. No one around him would touch him or even get close to him. He had no friends. Everyday Magnus would try to ask for money, but it won’t work. Magnus even tries to ask for spare clothes, but it still won’t work. He tried and tried and tried, but it won’t work at all.

Solution:
Magnus remembered that he wished to become rich and famous. He thought of it for a few seconds and started searching for a good job. Magnus came up with a spectacular idea. Afterwards Magnus found a new job near Hyper park. His job was the right job for him. So he worked there and earned some money for himself. Magnus became magnificent.
