1. If you find a fish it has to be 30 meters long if it's short or long you have to put it back in the water.

2. When you put it in the water you have to get a cloth with soaked water and then put it in, because if you put it in with your hands then the scales from the fish will come off that will damage it.

3. You have to wear a life jacket when your on a boat, canoe, sailboat and a motor boat.

Mr Minstrel said if you get the best writing in the school you will win a flash fishing rod. When I heard that I said to myself " I want to win that flash fishing rod, I love fishing and it's green that's my favorite color ". Mr and Mrs Minstrel were Lovely at singing, especially Mr Minstrel he was talented and he was good at playing the guitar. Mrs Minstrel was talented at dancing.

They even talked about different kinds of fishes. My favorite was the Snappers and Yellow tails fishes. Those fishes looked delicious and scrumptious. He talked about Snappers, King fish, Tuna and more.
They sang us all different kinds of songs like Kia Moana, Pukeko and more, but my favorite was Pukeko,  Kia Moana that song was catchy. My favorite part of the song was when it goes " Kia Moana for you and me " and for Pukeko my favorite part was when it goes " Pukeko-weko!!!!, PUKEKO-WEKO!!! ".

These were my favorite parts and I am hoping to win that prize!!!!

Image result for cross countryOn the starting line, I could feel my stomach Blasting and Charging like a Wrecking ball was going to smash through my stomach, my legs were wobbly like jelly and noodles, my heart was pounding like a volcano eruption, I could hear the crowd shouting and cheering through everyone's ears. I felt like leaving but there was no way out, Mr Burt slapped the 2 bricks together and everyone were blasting and charging towards the cones.

We were blasting like Jet Planes going across the field and Our Legs were sprinting like a Lion was chasing it’s enemy and Our legs were filled with pain. Well we were running we were huffing and puffing like the big bad wolf was gonna blow down everyone. My arms were red like it was burning with hot fire.

I was relieved to see the finish line in my eyes. My sweat felt like a water fountain dripping down, my cheeks were burning with boiling hot water in a pot, my legs were shaking like an earthquake and my back felt like it was getting roasted in a grill. When I was running I could hear shouting and yelling like there was a Olympics happening. Once I got on the finish line my face was filled Joy and Happiness and I said to myself “ I am a CHAMPION!!! ”

Gabe and Saia's trip to AMERICA

On Tuesday the 6th 2016 there were 2 boys from tamaki college who went to AMERICA!!!!. There names were Gabriel and Saia. They came in and told us about the places they went to. The places they went to was Facebook, Microsoft, Google, Apple, Twitter, Khan academy, Xero, Alcatraz, Stanford University and more. Saia told us what was his favorite places and 1 of them was Stanford University.

He like Stanford University because it's one of the best University in the world and it had lot's of good education and lot's of good experience. Saia wanted to be a civil engineer in the Stanford University. Gabriel told us 1 of his favorite places and that was Alcatraz. Alcatraz is a dark prison in America, but it takes 50 min to get there on a ferrie.

Alcatraz was shut down in 1962 because 3 prisoners broke out of the prison. Gabriel said it was dangerous because the water in ruff and there's dangerous sharks especially great white shark. At the Alcatraz they learned about every place in the prison and they learned about how the 3 prisoners escape to.

My favorite place I would go to is Alcatraz, Facebook, Twitter and Apple because it sounds interesting and cool. They even went to the Golden State Bridge AMAZING right that's where the Golden state warriors come from. They went to a flash hotel in San Francisco and do you know how our McDonald's large is large, America's small is our Large crazy right.

One of the funniest moments they had was the bean boozled challenge. The bean boozled challenge is when you eat a bean, but you don't know if it a yuck flavor or a yum flavor. One of Gabriel's friend had a yuck flavor and it was dead fish. The yuck flavors are toothpaste, stinky socks, dead fish, booger, barf, baby wipes, canned dog food, sunk spray, moldy cheese and lawn clippings. The yum flavor were tutti-frutti, peach, butter popcorn, coconut, juicy pear, lime, berry blue, chocolate pudding, licorice and caramel popcorn.

The BFG Book and Movie

Last term our Literacy teacher Mr Wiseman read us the Roald Dahl BFG book. At the 10th of August we went to go watch the new released movie the BFG in Sylvia park.  I think the movie was cool. It looked realistic and it was better in action, but I think the book gave it more detail than the movie. To me the movie looked alive.

The book was different to the movie because the book gave it more detail and the book was a little bit different to the movie's way. Some bit's were different then the movie because in the book it said that the Giants were put away in a pit where lot's of people could see it, but in the movie it said it was put into a different island.

My Favorite character was the BFG because the BFG was funny, emotional, cool and the BFG took care of Sophie. The BFG was really tall he had ears like a size of a elephants ears and he was careful with Sophie. The BFG gave Sophie good care and he made a small house for her, he took care of her and he took care of her when the bad Giants came to the BFG's house. When the Bad Giants got token away from the island they got token away to a different island and they were give Snozzcumber and Snozzcumber seeds. The bad Giants were really bad there were 9 of them they wanted to eat Sophie because they eat people, but the BFG doesn't eat people.

My Favorite part in the story was when the BFG showed Sophie where he catches dreams. There was a secret place where the BFG caught his dreams and there was a underworld. When they jumped in the water they went to a secret underworld where lot's of dreams were, there were bad dreams and happy dreams.

My second favorite part was when the queens army took the 9 bad Giants to a new Island where they wouldn't boss the BFG around and they got a treat from the queen at it was Snozzcumber and Snozzcumber seeds.

My third favorite part was when the BFG was like a stealth ninja. He was hiding like he was in a shooting area. He was so stealth that people coulden't even see him. When He saw someone he would try and find a good place to hide.

Muscle Fatigue

Hi my name is Junior and this is my poster iv'e been working on and it's called Muscle Fatigue. Muscle Fatigue happens when your Muscles are using oxygen faster than your blood can supply it. My group ( spiders ) worked on this story about Muscle Fatigue.

Sometimes you can beat Muscle Fatigue by resting a lot, Relaxing, Sleeping, Drink water and eating the right amount of food. We need to exercise because our bodies develop more efficient ways of getting blood to those muscles.
